Client Care Specialist

Colleen has been rescuing and caring for animals since as far back as she can remember and she’s never met an animal she didn’t love. She spent summers as a kid catching bullfrogs, turtles and snakes and there was always at least one family pet to nurture while growing up.

 

Colleen acquired a wealth of skills and experience through working at veterinary hospitals, with several animal rescue organizations, and from operating her own canine training business. Her lifelong devotion to assisting both people and animal culminated in joining our reception team at Qualicum Beach Animal Hospital in 2019 where she is delighted to contribute to the exceptional care we provide to our community’s cats and dogs. Colleen is proud to have completed the Fear Free Veterinary certification  program enhancing her ability to comfort anxious pets, which she finds especially rewarding.

In her spare time, Colleen loves beach-combing, wood carving and spending time with her incredible husband, the son they adore, their six beautiful rescued dogs (yes, SIX) and one happy bearded dragon.
