Rachel started working at Qualicum Beach Animal Hospital in December of 2020. From a young age, she always knew she wanted to work with animals - her passion for animals was like no other! She grew up in Campbell River on a small hobby farm with horses, pigs, chickens, dogs and cats. 

 

Rachel moved to Qualicum Beach in 2018 and decided to follow her dreams in taking the Animal Care Aide program in the fall of 2020. She joined the team at QBAH to gain hands- on experience prior to finishing her coursework in 2021. Although she loved being a veterinary assistant, Rachel decided to use her experience and move into the role of Client Care Specialist. However, anytime her veterinary assistant skills are needed, she is always ready to jump in and lend an extra hand!

Rachel is very grateful for the training and experience she has gained at QBAH, and loves helping in any way she can. It has been the best experience working for QBAH and she enjoys every minute working with the best people who have the same interests. Outside of work, Rachel enjoys camping, going for walks, and spending time with friends and family. She lives with her boyfriend Jake and their most recent family member, a pup named Nash.
