Dr. Tara Westworth grew up in Edmonton, Alberta where she acquired her Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Sciences from the University of Alberta. She went on to obtain her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine through the Western College of Veterinary Medicine, graduating in 2015. After graduation, Dr Westworth accepted a veterinary position on Vancouver Island. She enjoys spending time hiking, kayaking, skiing, playing soccer and exploring all this beautiful island has to offer with her partner Colby and fur baby Roxy.

Dr. Westworth has a particular passion for preventive medicine and rehabilitation. She gained her certification in canine rehabilitation through the University of Tennessee in 2017 and trained in musculoskeletal acupuncture through the College of Integrative Veterinary Therapies. She is excited to further her education in integrative medicine and provide more treatment options for her patients.
