Growing up, Mykena knew her career path would be in the veterinary field, with a passion for horses since the age of 7 and all other animals small and large! 

 

Mykena graduated from the TRU Animal Health Technology Program in 2018 and has been a part of the QBAH team since 2023. She is passionate about being a voice and advocate for all of the animals that walk through our doors. She also has a special interest in animal behaviour and training.

 

In her spare time you'll find her hiking, paddle boarding, playing beach volleyball and enjoying everything the island has to offer while also traveling the world any chance she gets!
