Dr. Sheila Finch was born and raised on Vancouver Island, and has been working as a vet locally for the past 10 years. She graduated from the University of Melbourne Veterinary School in 2011. Before this training she also completed a Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Victoria with 3 semesters spent abroad at James Cook University, Australia.

After many years away, Sheila was happy to be able to return to Vancouver Island to start her career. She now lives locally with her husband Graeme and their daughters Isla and Emilia. They also have 2 dogs Cuillin and Ruadh, and 3 cats Oscar, Felix and Rusty. Sheila enjoys having fun with her family, and in her spare time she also likes to go running, mountain biking and snowboarding.
