Dr. Jared Watson was born and raised on a mixed farm in friendly Manitoba. He received a Bachelor of Science from the University of Manitoba before attaining his DVM at the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in Saskatoon. In vet school, he met his future wife Roberta, who is also a veterinarian.

 

Since graduating in 2012, he has worked in a variety of veterinary practices around Western Canada and New Zealand and has travelled around much of the world. Both he and his wife are passionate about veterinary volunteerism which has taken them to places like Uganda and Thailand. Jared is happy to be able to call Vancouver Island his home for the last years. He likes meeting new clients and the variety of things that are seen day to day from medicine to surgery.
